The last handful of months have been what many described as being “unprecedented”, “crazy”, or even “unimaginable”. Cedar Rapids, the U.S., & the World have all been impacted in some shape or form by the novel Covid-19 virus. However, businesses & communities are climbing back as we speak to a new “normal”. Of course, we hope all readers, followers, & residents are doing well! It is important for us to keep you informed. So where are we now at Q4 Real Estate?
The safety and well-being of our team and residents is without a doubt the #1 priority. Our team continues to practice safe social-distancing measures and provides FaceTime/Zoom tours, with one new addition. We are now providing, contactless self-guided tours for prospective tenants at properties. What does this look like? Our property managers, Jessica Rowe or Shawna Mahoney, will gladly meet you at properties you have interest in and provide access into a vacant suite(s). From there, guests are welcome to explore the vacant suite, take photos, and ask our team additional questions. To protect residents who are still residing in suites, we will not provide any tours of occupied suites for the foreseeable future. Only vacant suites. We understand there is a difference between seeing photos or a video recording. You as the renter really want to feel the space, in person. We can schedule this for you while still practicing safe social distancing. This is available across all our listings spanning from Cedar Rapids to Marion. If you would prefer a FaceTime or Zoom call, we are happy to accommodate. Our team wants to ensure you feel comfortable while searching for your new home.
What does our current availability look like given the Covid-19 virus? Outside of the updated touring operations, properties continue to fill week by week and this has been a comforting feeling despite what we are all facing. Whether this is for a job relocation, optimal space within a specific school district, or a new beginning, suites are being rented. Some are renting site-unseen to ensure personal safety, and this is very understandable. Our Parkway West 1-2-bedroom luxury rentals have but one unit remaining on the market. The established Sunny Ridge Townhomes in Marion will have a handful of spacious 3-bedroom units coming in early August, & the brand-new Buffalo Ridge Townhomes located just off Edgewood Road in Cedar Rapids have a few move-in ready today options. If you look at our website, you may notice 1 or 2 available units coming available at developments like The Depot or The Redstone. This is often the case where a one in-one out situation arises, so prospective tenants will need to act quickly as properties such as this are quite popular due to their prime location!
